Sophistication in a Former-Sausage Factory in Stockholm
Usine in Stockholm’s Södermalm neighborhood is 2000-square-meter taste of sophistication housed in a former sausage factory. Sprawled across the expansive groundfloor are Restaurant Bistro 38, Bar Poche 36, a café, and a take-away counter alongside the reception and conference spaces. Designer Richard Lindvall took to the interior with 48 tons of middle-grey concrete, lighter woods, and dark black pipes and chairs to accent the contemporary space. Custom furniture lines the interior, giving the individual projects a cohesive sense of identity and overarching unity.
